Ladies and Gentlemen..Bachelor Chen here..
yes yes yes.. finally i have graduated.. happiest day of my parents' lives so far.. i think.. finally their son can come out and earn money.. from a liabity to an asset.. wahaha.. of coz more than that.. i think every parent would love to see their child grow up. graduation is one big step of growing up. well i must say the last two years of my studies was really the toughest years of my academic life. not because of the difficult course work but because i already had little passion left for academic studies. having spent 18 years in school, the biggest lesson taught was that the most important things in life cannot be learned in school. i kinda realisd that a little too late but nonetheless, i received the scroll from this lady who they call the nus trustee..(i was expecting to take it from the nus dean or something..sad) and time to move on to bigger things.
looking back, the most valuable things i gain from schooling, is a bunch of true friends. by the word friends i include teachers too.
eventhough i don't really put much importance on this degree cert, i would still put this under my achievement list..one of the milestone in my life.
oh and i want to thank my gf and relatives for coming all the way from overseas to celebrate with me.
