first judo-related injury

last nite during judo training, i smashed onto the mat and landed with my shoulder first. immediately felt like my arm dislocated. went to one corner took off my gi and once of the mate(medicine student) came to examine my condition.
mate: ok la..no problem..maybe sprain
me: really not? how come my right hand like longer than my left hand!?
i was quite sian, nv suffered major injury during any training, not even in my many yrs of training full contact karate. more sian is that i walked around in nus then later took bus to nuh all the time half naked. i couldn't even lift up my hand to wear my t-shirt. well after x-ray and all that..came the good news..no fracture no dislocation..just severe pain..crap.. while i was in the hospital waiting to see the doc i saw many other patients, then i started to think, ppl injure in accidents or work..but i could have avoided the injury if i chose to play some safer sports like running or just normal workout. was i not treasuring my health? well..come to think about it now, isn't life about pursuing our passion..there are sacrifices to be made..and when we do sacrifice something for our passion, we don't need to ask whether it's worth it.

I happened onto your blog. Very well done.

I have extensive experience in treating athletes with a variety of musculo-skeletal problems. Karate, judo, boxing in particular, develop predictable problems with the elbows, wrists, shoulders and knees.

I currently use a non-prescription topical anti-inflammatory cream that I developed, originally for my daughter's horse.(her hobby) I introduced commercially, for human use 6 months ago.

The cream works in about 30 seconds, pain relief lasting 2-4 hours. There is no odor, no noticable sensation of burning or cooling. The pain, simply goes away. Most of the problems are inflammatory, and the cream is a transdermal anti-inflammatory of a rather potent nature.

The blog site is: http://paindoctor.typepad.com/kinkease_use_and_uses/

The product is called “kink-ease.” It is a high concentration MSM lotion, and it is particularly useful for pain problems in the feet, hands, wrists, ankles and shoulders. It is somewhat useful in the hip and lower back, but only in slender people.

It is pharmaceutical grade and is priced very reasonably.
